Commonwealth Games

Lots of major sporting events has been happening during my stay in melbourne.

Firstly there was the Australian Open, then Cricket.
Recently the Commonwealth Games that just ended last sunday.
Now, the Grand Prix is coming up, i think it's this friday.

Just makes you wonder what kind of sporting event is up next..ha..

Went to the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games last sunday.
There were three spots of firework, the first a MCG stadium, second along the Yarra River and lastly at Federation Sq.

It was real packed in the city, there were people sitting on the lawn waiting for fireworks to happen. Fire works were launched at 10pm sharp.




The fireworks launched were real grand, and so up close.

It was fantastic. SUch that i would have to say that Singapore's National day fireworks pale in comparison.
Shall post some photos i took along the Yarra river soon.
